1. Genuine marriage intention

Use An-Nikkah for sincere matrimonial introductions. Profiles created primarily for casual dating, sexual interaction, commercial promotion, recruitment, fundraising or unrelated networking are not permitted.

2. Dignity and respectful communication

Communicate politely and avoid vulgar, sexually explicit, degrading, threatening or intimidating language. Respect a member’s boundaries, communication preferences and decision to stop an interaction.

3. Honesty

Do not misrepresent age, identity, photos, marital status, children, education, employment or other significant matrimonial facts. Do not impersonate another person or create a profile for someone without appropriate permission.

4. Privacy and modesty

Do not publish or redistribute another member’s private photos, messages, phone number, address or documents without permission. Do not pressure members for private images or off-platform contact details.

5. Family-respectful introductions

The platform welcomes members who prefer family or guardian involvement and members who manage their own matrimonial search. Respect each person’s chosen process. Family participation must not become coercion, harassment or control over another adult’s consent.

6. No sectarian, caste or identity abuse

Members may state legitimate matrimonial preferences, but insults, dehumanising language, harassment or hateful attacks based on sect, community, ethnicity, nationality, language, disability or other personal characteristics are not acceptable.

7. No financial exploitation

Do not use matrimonial conversations to demand money, request loans, promote investments, collect deposits, conduct scams or pressure another person or family into financial arrangements.

8. No minors or sexual exploitation

Profiles for persons under 18 are prohibited. Sexual exploitation, grooming, coercive sexual content and non-consensual intimate material are prohibited and may be escalated where required by law.

9. Reporting and enforcement

An-Nikkah may warn, restrict, suspend or remove accounts that violate these guidelines. Serious safety, fraud or legal issues may be preserved or disclosed where reasonably required for investigation or legal compliance.

10. Muslim-oriented values without claiming religious authority

These guidelines are designed around dignity, privacy, honesty, modest conduct, family respect and sincere marriage intention commonly valued by Muslim users. An-Nikkah does not decide individual religious rulings or replace qualified scholarly guidance.

Privacy and screenshots

Members must not save, screenshot, record, forward or publish another member’s protected profile, gallery, contact details or private messages without permission. Attempts to bypass privacy controls, watermarks or consent-based access may result in account action.
