A consent-first approach to matrimonial profiles, communication, verification and account security.

An-Nikkah may collect account information such as name, verified email address and optional mobile number; matrimonial profile information such as age, marital status, language, faith/community information, education, career, income range, family background, general residence, lifestyle preferences and photos; and service activity such as interests, requests, shortlist activity, messages, reports and membership transactions.
For web registration, a valid email address must be confirmed using a six-digit one-time verification code before the member account is created. The code is time-limited and repeated send/verification attempts are rate-limited. Members must never share OTPs, passwords or account-recovery codes with another member, family contact, staff impersonator or third party.
Where member verification is enabled, An-Nikkah may request limited evidence needed to review identity and profile authenticity, such as a legal name, government-issued photo identification, a recent verification selfie and a family or guardian reference. Verification material is intended for account-review purposes and is not intended to be displayed as public matrimonial profile content.
Members should upload only the requested identity content. Where lawful and practical, unrelated document numbers and unnecessary information should be obscured. Members must not upload bank credentials, card details, passwords, OTPs, private messages from other people or unrelated documents.
Profile information selected for matrimonial discovery may be visible to eligible members according to the platform's access rules. Exact login credentials, verification codes and verification documents are not public profile fields. Members should not place an exact home address, personal email address, phone number, financial details or government identifier inside public biography or profile-description fields.
A member who wants to see another member's protected contact details must send a contact-access request. Contact details remain masked until the profile owner accepts that request. Declining or not responding does not grant access. Permission to view contact information does not authorise publication, forwarding, scraping or use outside the matrimonial purpose for which it was shared.
Private gallery images are intended to remain protected until the profile owner accepts a gallery-access request. Approval is specific to the requesting member and does not grant permission to download, redistribute, publish or share those images with other people.
Private chat is enabled only after a connection request is accepted. A member cannot legitimately use a changed URL, thread identifier or direct request to enter a conversation that does not belong to them. Closing, blocking or otherwise ending an eligible connection may remove further communication access according to the platform's controls.
An-Nikkah may use browser-level measures that discourage printing, copying or screen capture of protected content. A normal website cannot guarantee prevention of operating-system screenshots, screen-recording software, browser extensions or an external camera. Members must therefore treat protected profile content, gallery images, contact information and chat messages as confidential and must not capture or redistribute them without permission.
Information may be used to create and secure accounts, provide matrimonial search and matching, operate consent-based member interactions, review verification requests, manage membership services, prevent abuse, investigate reports, communicate account/service notices and maintain platform reliability.
Security measures include server-side validation for registration, email OTP verification before account creation, password-strength requirements, authenticated member routes and permission checks for protected member interactions. No online service can promise absolute security. Members should use a unique password, keep devices secured, sign out from shared devices and report suspected account compromise promptly.
Information may be processed by providers needed to operate hosting, email/SMS communication, payments, security, analytics or customer support. Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law or where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, fraud, threats to safety or misuse of the service.
An-Nikkah aims to collect information relevant to matrimonial matching, account security and verification. Information may be retained while an account is active and afterwards where reasonably needed for legal obligations, safety, fraud prevention, dispute handling, operational records or backup cycles. Verification evidence should not be submitted unless requested for the verification process.
Members can update profile information, use available privacy controls, decide whether to approve contact/gallery/connection requests, block or report other members, and request account correction, deactivation or deletion where supported. Some records may need to be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations or dispute resolution.
An-Nikkah supports family-conscious matrimonial use. A member may involve a parent, guardian or trusted family reference where appropriate, but family involvement does not replace the consent of the adults whose profiles, contact details, images or conversations are involved.
The platform is intended only for adults aged 18 or above. Matrimonial profiles for minors are not permitted.
This policy may be updated when platform features, security practices or applicable requirements change. Material changes may be communicated through the website or account notices. Privacy or security concerns should be reported through the platform support channel rather than shared with another member.
