1. Purpose of the platform

An-Nikkah is a matrimonial platform intended to help eligible adults and, where they choose, their families or guardians discover potential marriage matches. The service is not a dating or casual-relationship platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and meet any higher minimum age configured by the platform for registration. You must have legal capacity to marry under the laws that apply to you. Profiles for another person may only be created with that person’s knowledge and appropriate permission.

3. Honest profile information

You agree to provide accurate information about identity, age, marital status, education, occupation, family background and other material matrimonial details. Impersonation, intentionally false profiles, forged documents or misleading information may result in restriction or removal.

4. Respectful matrimonial conduct

Members must communicate respectfully and with genuine marriage intent. Harassment, sexual or obscene content, threats, coercion, discriminatory abuse, repeated unwanted contact, financial solicitation, fraud and attempts to obtain another member’s credentials are prohibited.

5. Family and guardian involvement

An-Nikkah supports family-oriented matrimonial introductions. A member may involve parents, guardians, elders or trusted persons according to personal preference, family practice and applicable law. The platform does not require one religious practice for every member and does not replace personal religious guidance.

6. Privacy and contact sharing

Do not publish passwords, verification codes, bank details, government identification numbers or an exact residential address in public profile fields. Contact details should be shared only when you choose to do so and when platform access rules permit it.

7. Safety, verification and reporting

Verification or profile approval can reduce certain risks but cannot guarantee a member’s identity, character, compatibility or intentions. Members should use independent judgment, involve trusted people where appropriate and report suspicious behaviour through the platform.

8. Paid plans and platform features

Some features may depend on a membership package, usage allowance or payment. Package inclusions, duration, renewal and refund terms shown at the time of purchase form part of these Terms.

9. Content and moderation

You remain responsible for information, photos and messages you submit. An-Nikkah may review, restrict or remove content or accounts where reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, policy enforcement or platform integrity.

10. No guarantee of marriage or compatibility

An-Nikkah provides tools for introductions and matching. It does not guarantee a match, engagement, Nikah, compatibility, background accuracy or outcome. Members and families remain responsible for their own enquiries and decisions.

11. Account suspension or closure

Accounts may be limited, suspended or closed for serious or repeated policy violations, suspected fraud, safety risks, legal requirements or misuse of the service. Members may also request account deactivation or deletion using available account controls.

12. Legal and religious responsibility

The platform’s Muslim-oriented design and community standards are intended to encourage dignity, privacy, honesty and family-respectful marriage introductions. They are not a fatwa, legal opinion or substitute for advice from qualified scholars, lawyers or relevant authorities.
